UPDATE: SCHOOL FACILITY IMPROVEMENTS

Thanks to voter approval of the Crow-Applegate-Lorane bond measure, work on improvements and repairs to Applegate Elementary and Crow Middle/High School is now possible. We’re grateful for the support of our community and are excited to move forward. The State of Oregon will be adding $4 million in grant funding to the $4 million the community has approved. That $8 million will allow us to:

  1. Make essential repairs at both schools.

  2. Improve security at both schools.

  3. Improve fire and seismic safety at both schools.

  4. Allow us to make improvements at the middle/high school, including addition of a wing for science and technology education, and restoring the use of the shop facility.

  5. Make major improvements for ADA accessibility at the elementary school.

  6. Overhaul the bathroom facilities at the elementary school.

You can find a full listing of the work
here. Our first step is to proceed from the high-level master planning estimates to design. I will be in touch with details and updates as we move forward. Once again, your support was essential to making these improvements for our students. Thank you
