Applegate Elementary is located five miles south of Veneta in the heart of the Crow community. Just over 100 students occupy grades kindergarten through sixth, enjoying small teacher-student ratios and consistantly averaging above the state norm for Oregon Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (OAKS) testing. Pairing scholastic achievements with real-world applications, Applegate Elementary School provides a rich learning environment in an involved community.
