Due to unsafe driving conditions and continued power outages, all CAL schools will be closed tomorrow - Friday, January 19th.
In an attempt to support our school community through these challenging times, Crow High School locker rooms will be open for use from 10:00am to 1:00pm. We will also offer hot cocoa/coffee and a snack, with no charge. Please do, however, only travel if it's safe to do so and bring your own towel/toiletries.
We look forward to resuming our normal school schedule on Monday, January 22nd.

Hello CAL Families,
First, thank you to the many helpful neighbors who have pitched in to ensure roads are cleared and needs are met during the storm! I am continually impressed with our school community and its care for one another.
Currently, all of our school buildings have power and internet. Most have water and effort is being made to restore water to the elementary building today. (Another big thanks to our utility companies and maintenance team!)
If school resumes tomorrow, we have enough food to serve a "Cook's Choice" menu for both breakfast and lunch.
At this point we are watching road conditions. Dangers include continued ice/slush, downed trees, and rising water levels.
Our plan is to continue with road checks and make a decision about school for Friday by 5:30am.
As is our routine practice throughout the school year, if families have specific needs or emergency situations that cause an absence, we encourage them to communicate directly with the school office.
Also, as a reminder, when schools are closed for the day all extracurricular activities and facility usage is also canceled.
We look forward to getting back to our normal routines as soon as safely possible.
Warmly,
Superintendent Heidi Brown

CMHS Parents/Guardians,
We are running a full day of school tomorrow. Students are having classes go the first half of the day and then the homecoming events the second half. Again, students are here the whole school day, we just have fun the second half. HS students who are getting muddy should bring a spare change of clothes and a towel as they can shower in the locker rooms. Bring on the mud pit!
Thanks,
Principal Rodemack
