Last Friday night marked the end of our football season with a loss to CS Lewis. Even in losses there are always bright spots. One of those bright spots was the play of senior Colton Nevins who has been recognized again this week for his tackling. He ended the game with 11 tackles on the night.
Colton made it a personal goal this year raise his level of play to a point that he was recognized every week by OSAA for the product he put on the field. I am happy to share that with this weekās recognition Colton has met his goal. Colton was recognized 11 times in 4 different categories over our 8 games.
To culminate his senior season Colton Nevins ended up being ranked #1 in the entire state (all conferences and all levels) in tackles with 108.5 official tackles.
Please join me in celebrating the whole Cougar team with a special congratulations to our only senior Colton Nevins!!! Go Cougs!!
